Friday lunch was my first meal at BOG. I'm happy we preordered. It was nice to go straight from checkin to paying. It was also nice that you could change your order before paying.

The castle was beautiful. All of the rooms were appealing. We did spend quite a bit of time trying to find a table. All were full or dirty. We ended up waiting for a table to be cleared. It made me realize how difficult it would be for a large party to sit together. Even if they wanted to be in the same room.

The food delivery is the coolest I've experienced. The carts are so nicely themed and so cool that they come to you.

The food was a real disappointment. The fries were cold. The roast beef was nice flavor, but really difficult to eat. Just slides right off the sandwich as you eat it. I finally just removed the bread. It was lukewarm at best. Also on the cold side. The ham and cheese was good. The tuna salad was not good. The tuna was extremely rare. The egg in the salad was runny. We asked for the dressing on the side. It tasted like straight vinegar. The folks at the table beside us had issue with their French onion soup being cold.

I'm happy we went and saw the inside. It will be the last time I make a reservation. The price point was good, but the food temp was the deal breaker. We actually walked over to the Pinochio Haus to replace the partially eaten tuna salad. I'm also canceling a reservation in May.

thanks for posting - despite the dodgy reviews I have to admit I still like the idea of trying it based on a cs credit.

We had breakfast there on Thursday and it was grossly overpriced for the sub par quality of food received. Yes, it's beautiful and it DID get us in the park early and I get that they ARE Disney prices but even for Disney, we couldn't get over how much we paid for that *just* barely edible food.

It seems to be hit or miss, I've never had issues with food temperature. Regarding the food, some things are definitely better than others. The pork is by far the best choice for lunch and the cupcakes are yummy.

We like the food, but we'll not go again for lunch (or breakfast). It was chaos. We'll only go for dinner now.

I'm so sorry to hear this. DD and I went in August, and the food was amazing (we were on the free QSDP and got soup each instead of dessert). It was too much food for us! But, it was amazing and delicious. We both agreed that my roast beef sandwich and French Onion Soup was great. Her croque monsieur was just "meh" and also her soup. Still, we raved about it, and left at least half our food as it was just too much! We frequently (as in, almost always) share meals.
I have read lately a few not so nice lunch reviews. Sorry to see this.
Dinner menu does not appeal to us. To me it's overpriced. To her, it's bleh. Unless just soup, so we'd just do something else. Our friends did dinner there, and she didn't care for it.
Breakfast we did a few days later. I was under the weather so we just ordered one meal. It was nice for sure! I don't think if I were paying, I'd pay $20 for it but maybe. We did ride 7DMT twice after - both times we were the only ones on the train! They said come around again (we didn't even exit) and we had enough (did I mention I was under the weather?). We rode so much and were done by lunch, so went back to resort and rested! So if you want to do the 8am breakfast with 9am park opening, yes it's worth it! We're not early birds on vacation so it was torture to us!

Did you read the menu? The "tuna salad" is describe as "Warm Seared Tuna Steak, chilled Green Beans, Potatoes, Olives, Roasted Bell Peppers, Tomatoes and a Hard Poached Egg" Seared tuna should be rare, and a hard poached egg can be a little runny.

thanks for your review on this place...it seems from what I have read, it is hit or miss..thanks again

I've had the Niçoise salad many times and the tuna is rare. That's how it comes. It's one of the best meals in the MK for me! As far as cold food that really stinks. Boo to cold fries! :)
