Heading down to Orlando for the dis anniversary party. The day I arrive I plan on going to the Magic Kingdom.

At the last minute I have been able to snag a 9:10 PM dinner reservation at be our guest. I've done there for lunch but never for dinner. I'm wondering what everyone thinks of dinner or a be our guest versus the new fireworks

I know the fireworks have not yet debuted. But I'm just soliciting opinions and obviously that might change after May 12 and being able to see the new fireworks online.

Of course if there's an earlier dinner time I plan on grabbing it.

Since you've already been to BoG, even if it was lunch and not dinner, I'd rather catch the new fireworks.

I definitely wouldn't rather watch the new show online, it wouldn't do it justice.

Keep trying to get an earlier adr and see if you can do both

To clarify i meant watch it online to see if I was interested in it.
Ah but when will your next opportunity be to see new fireworks in the Magic Kingdom? Online for the first time seems a waste. Anyway, its there any chance you could do both? Maybe the night before have dinner at the California Grill to catch the new fireworks? Otherwise I would pick new fireworks. Or maybe the day of you can go by Be Our Guest and see if they could accomodate you being a few minutes late to your reservation? I have called for dinner reservations at disney before a few times when running late and they were always able to work with me, but this is no guarantee.

I have another trip planned for marathon weekend and I'll def be able to see it then

I consider BoG to be a nice place to stop by for the "cheapest possible meal" that they offer.

It would bug me to be checking in / being seated / be in BOG while fireworks are going on all around you. You're so close to the action but have to do something else! Especially with the new show, my curiosity would be killing me.

I am a BOG dinner fan so I'd definitely try to do it, but keep checking for another time.

Were just there this week and for the sixth trip since BOG opened, had the same things for lunch - braised pork dinner and the french onion soup!! Both delicious and consistent.
We have never bothered with the tiny dessert cupcakes - prefer to have a better option later.

Have you done dinner. My friend had the braised beef and the potato leek soup. Any thoughts to dinner vs fireworks?
