BOG dinner timing question

i can't believe I am in the position of asking this, but there still appears to be a lot of openings for bog dinner in September due to them just opening everything up.

If wishes is at 9:00, what time do you think is good for dinner?

I will have my 5yo and DH with me.

Thinking 6:00-6:15 is good- she won't be too tired, then we should have time to maybe catch 1-2 rides before heading to the castle for celebrate the magic.

As of right now there is no 8pm MSEP so hopefully we won't have to deal with that (only scheduled at 10).

Not to be a double-checker but you will want to make sure that the Wishes fireworks are at 9pm; I know that in September some nights they are at 10, and some nights they aren't happening. Below is the static schedule I've been using as a reference.

In terms of timing if Wishes is at 9pm I think your thoughts are right. This will also give you time to get your picture taken with Beast as he does photo sessions in the "library" throughout the night and I would highly advise taking advantage of it as he is in his fancy attire. Also, with a 5yo I might request to not be seated in the "West Wing" (the rose room) when you get there. It can be a little scary for younger kids as it is dark with tattered draperies and the occasional thunderclap. I do think they try not to seat younger diners in that room but I would also ask for it as well.

I am sure you are already planning this but naps at Disney are not to be underestimated for either kids or adults! I would highly recommend taking a break mid-day for at least an hour of downtime away from the park. DH and I call that "cranky-o'clock" in the park and when you see the most meltdowns. Taking a break midday for a rest will really allow everyone to enjoy the magic in the evening.
