We have ADR for BOG at 6.55pm. I also have a FP for A&E at 7.30pm - 8.30pm and a FP for MSEP at 8.30-8.50pm.

Do you think this is do-able?

How long does BOG dinner typically take - we will arrive early so hopefully can be seated as near to 6.55pm as possible.

Thanks....

We estimate that a TS dinner takes about 60 - 75 minutes once you're seated. You can speed things up if you know what you want and order as soon as you are seated, perhaps have just 1 or 2 courses instead of 3. Also, let your server know you need to finish by a specific time.

The unknown is how long you have to wait before being seated. It will depend on when you are going, how busy the restaurant is and if they are running behind schedule. We had to wait 30 minutes past our reservation time at BOG even though we checked in 15 minutes early. If you are planning on the meet & greet with the Beast after you finish dining you'll have to allow time for that. Also, if you want to walk around and see the rest of the restaurant that will take additional time.

If at all possible, I would keep checking online multiple times a day for an earlier BOG time or for another day so I don't have to keep checking my watch while dining.

Try to pay cash as well. Using DDP or a credit card means multiple waits for multiple slips. Whereas cash you get one slip, leave money and get out the door.

It really isn't realistic to try to do. What are you willing to give up? Best bet try for an earlier adr or plan on skipping school me of your fm

Living that tight a schedule won't be fun for anyone

We had a BOG dinner last week. It was WONDERFUL! We had reservations for 7pm and walked out of the restaurant exactly at 9pm. We had to wait in line to meet the Beast, but we got to watch Wishes on the BOG bridge! The fireworks were all around us and only a handful of people were there. It was magical!!! And worth every minute of our 2 hour dinner!
!

We've had dinner here a few times already and each time our dinner was at least 1 1/2 hours. Our most recent dinner was just last week and we were there for almost 2 hours from start to finish.

OP, I honestly don't see you making your FP as you have it now especially if you're planning to actually order dinner entrees.

Another potential issue I see is getting from one FP+ to the other. When we used a FP+ for the parade in Dec., people were entering the area well ahead of when the parade FP+ started. Now, I will grant you that it was a very busy week, but having a FP+ for the parade starting at 8:30 would have me at that FP+ area at about 8:10 or so to be on the safe side.
I would want to hit the A & E FP+ at the beginning of the window, not the end.

Like a prior poster mentioned BOG typically runs a little behind in their reservation times. You may not be seated right at your ADR time and that will push things back. When we ate there last Aug we waited about 15-20 mins to get in. Like others, our meal lasted about 2 hours. We did have some apps and dessert so that added to the length. I would keep checking for a different BOG time or a different FP time.

That sounds tight to me. It also sounds like a lot of rushing and if it was me and my family it would be too much rushing. I think u should into getting a earlier adr. The FPs are doable if u get to A&E at the earlier time on the FP. Or maybe see if u can get A&E on a different day.

What happens when the park closes at 10 but the BOG reservation is after 9:00? We have a 9:05 reservation and I think the park closes at 10 that day. I was curious as to what will happen.

We were at the park after eating at BOG and it closed (officially). However, the last of the parade was still going on and we rode two more rides, and then went shopping. Everything I read said the park closed at 9, but you would never have known it. Enjoy! BOG is amazing and worth taking your time at, IMO. I keep reading mixed reviews, but we had GREAT service and the food was really wonderful. The bonus walk-on to Space Mountain afterwards plus shopping on Main Street with fewer people was fantastic, too.

Thanks ChickP, I thought we were going to be rushed and have been unsuccessfully looking for an earlier reservation. You've made me feel better.

Our experience (in September) was that we waited the longest for our BOG table than we did at any other restaurant that week. Now it was also September with really low crowds and BOG is super popular, so we expected a wait. I want to say that we waited maybe 15 minutes past our ADR time. Our ADR was for 5:50. Our dinner wasn't rushed, it took about 90 minutes and we exited at 7:10. We met Anna and Elsa right after that.

Sorry to hijack but what is A&E?

Anne & Elsa Meet and Greet :)

It is doable if you are super fast eaters and skip dessert possibly apps. But they seem to run behind on ADRs at night. So add in waiting 20-30 for your table to be safe

We had a similar situation last trip. Given the choice to do it again, I wouldn't try the BOG again. It was an early reservation, close to 5, but they were running way behind. The bridge was packed with people waiting to be called in, and we waited over 30 minutes. I was so stressed through the meal about not missing the A&E meet and greet that it affected our enjoyment. It also took forever for the waiter to bring the dessert cart by us, and again for the dessert to come.

After dinner, we went and waited in line to have a picture with the Beast. Right when we were next to go, the Beast took a break, so we had to leave.

It was too much in too short of a time with too many factors out of our control.

This is great advice! Our ADR is also for 7. Now we'll just hang out and watch Wishes from the bridge!

We have a 6:10 ADR and want to see the parade at 9:00 that night. That should be enough time, right? I figure if we don't get a FP+ for the parade, we'll want to be on Main St to find a spot at around 8:00. Do you think I should try for an earlier ADR?
