Guess this is really more speculation than news or rumor, but...

Any thoughts on the possibility of BOG doing a character breakfast somewhere down the road? I assume Belle already appears at CRT, but any chance of moving her to her own restaurant, with Beast, Gaston, maybe some of the other castle fixtures? I'd personally love to see it, and think it could be a big draw, especially given BOG's newness. Or do you think 3 character meals venues in one park is too many?

1) If an eatery is PACKED, why add more costs, such as characters?
2) There is no economic value or added profit to be gained.
. . . labor for two people for each character
. . . labor for one attendant
. . . material for costumes and labor to make/repair costumes
. . . labor to wash/clean costumes
. . . labor time for make-up and cressing time for charcters

but they aren't doing a BOG breakfast at all right now are they? so assuming character meals do make profit then adding a character breakfast at bog would increase profits.

I'd love to see some changes to character dining at disney. I feel like its been the same thing for a long time. Excited to see the star wars dining but i realize thats only a temporary thing.

Me too! I would love it if they continued to Star Wars dining past SWW but I am not sure it will happen. I would also love some new options for character dining. My kids love the characters and we do too, but a change would be fun.

I think breakfast is a great idea:thumbsup2 There's obviously not enough supply for the demand of dinner ADRs and this would also help take some of the pressure off of CRT. I think opening it for even CS could be good since there isn't really anyplace in MK to get breakfast except a pastry or TS. Either away I'm shocked they haven't expanded to breakfast yet and wondering what's holding them back:confused3

I would love to see this happen! To me, it's crazy how difficult it is to get a ressie here and there aren't any characters. But, someone already made the point that it's not necessary for Disney to do that at this time given the popularity of the restaurant. They are obviously keeping it filled without this extra expense.

I don't know about making it a character breakfast, however adding a regular breakfast at BOG would be a great idea. I called 180 days out and was unable to get a reservation, having a sit down breakfast would probably make it easier to get a reservation. Heck even if they make it a QS breakfast that would be great. As it stands the only places that serve breakfast in MK are the Crystal Palace and Starbucks. Breakfast is probably my favorite meal having more places where I could get an actual breakfast meal would be great.

I would love to see a BOG breakfast, not necessarily a Character Breakfast, but quick service would be amazing!

Although, they open at 10:30 am right now for lunch. On my last trip, my husband and I got in line a little after 10:00 am, watched the little opening ceremony, and we were eating by 10:35/10:40. On the day we did this (actually two days!), we skipped breakfast and treated this meal like brunch.

If they were going to open for breakfast, they would have to adjust their lunch schedule. I assume breakfast would go until closer to 11:00 am. Would there be a layover period so some guests would clear out making room for the lunch crowd? Seems like a lot of adjustments to the current way of doing things would have to be made.

They so need to do this and a quick service would be great : )

1) A QS breakfast would have the chance of siphoning-off TS customers from CRT & CP.
2) Breakfast buffets at MK make far too much money to risk losing customers to a cheaper QS.
3) Plus, if you bought a cheaper QS breakfast, why would you pay big bucks for a BoG lunch?

They would have to shut down Story Time with Belle, since she couldn't be in two places at once!!

The magic mirror in Maurice's cottage sends you back in time to the day Belle and Beast fell in love.

Having a breakfast at BOG would mean that they would have to allow guests to enter/populate fantasyland prior to park opening. The two current offerings are situated such that guests are not able to enter any of the "lands" of MK. My guess is that this is the reason they didn't offer breakfast at BOG in the first place - it would present a logistical crowd-control nightmare.
