BOG Breakfast

Tips and/or advice greatly appreciated. We have an ADR for a Be Our Guest breakfast (Feb 21) @ 8am. We're staying at POR. Its just myself and DH.

1) Exactly where do we go to be let in early? Will we be walking through a closed MK on our own or are we somewhat escorted to BOG?
2) Will we be catching a different bus from POR?
3) Roughly what time will we need to leave POR to get there by 8am?
4) Wouldn't think it will take an hour for breakfast... are we able to walk through the park after eating prior to rope drop?

Any other experiences to share are much appreciated.

1. Go to the left side of the entrance; there will be a roped off area with a CM checking your reservation
2. Catch the bus to Magic Kingdom
3. You should be at the bus stop by 7AM, if not earlier. Bus service begins by 6:30, but buses will be infrequent until 8
4. There will be a rope to keep you from going into most areas.

We had breakfast at BOG and it was fabulous. Getting into MK before most others and getting to take those pictures without a lot of people in the pictures was nice. My favorite was the sight of all the worker's in Cinderella's Castle standing in front and waving to us as we walked up Main Street. I will not lie, I almost broke into an ugly cry. BOG did not take but about 45 minutes and as soon as we finished we went and stood in line for SDMT. We were able to ride it twice before the crowds got there. I would recommend anyone have an early breakfast reservation at MK just to experience some of that magic. Have fun!

Yes a drink is included in the price of breakfast. We did early BOG breakfast and then went straight to 7dmt and got to ride it around 8:45 before the rope drop people arrived. You are free to stop and get pictures on main street and in front of the castle. There will be areas roped off until the park opens.

I believe the drink is included as the breakfast is fixed price. (Even when paying oop.)

We ate breakfast there on Saturday, not on the dining plan, and our drinks were included. You order BOG breakfast as a whole meal (& can even do so in advance). Breakfast entree, drink and pastries are included & the price is the same for every adult regardless of which entree/drink combination you choose. You can't choose to "leave off" the drink and pay less- it's an all-inclusive set price for breakfast.

Yes, a selection of drinks 'are' included.

'Specialty' drinks in souvenir glasses are extra charge.

Now I am not sure I would pay cash--heck, who am I kidding...I probably would--but it was counter service credit on the DDP. Well worth it!
We had breakfast on Christmas morning and it was WONDERFUL!!! The only downside, if you can call it that, was that the fresh fruit was almost all honeydew which my children will not eat. Some of the pastries were meh, but all the entrees were great. We ordered the meat platter, bacon and egg sandwich, egg florentine, the doughnut, and we shared. I was thinking we also ordered a ham thing, but i may be getting lunch mixed up...All were excellent.

My advice: ORDER AHEAD!!!!
It is simple and when you see the line, you will thank the Lord. Or Mickey or whoever.

I have a question...will an email be sent with the link to pre-order? That's what I did when they first opened. Now, it didn't work when I did it (they were having a malfunction with everyone's pre-orders that day), but I'd be willing to try again!

I don't remember if I got an email or not but on your account, a link will show up beside your adr when it is available. I think it's 30 days before your date.
If you preordered, make sure to tell the CM when you check in. For some reason, both at breakfast and lunch, they wanted to send me to the kiosk to order when I already preordered. I was supposed to be saving time by preordering. At breakfast, we went through as directed but a few days later at lunch, I made sure to say that we preordered when going in so we didn't get directed to the ordering line.

We're doing a last minute trip - but did manage to get an 8:30am ADR so we'll get into the park early. We don't want to be too rushed - but are hoping the process is smooth and we can find a table - and be done right around 9 to get to 7DMT. To those in the know, is this likely? It seems to me that with our 8:30 timeslot we'll be dependent on the 8am ADR's to eat & be gone so we can have those tables. We did pre-order. THANK YOU!

Yes, breakfast and lunch are both CS, dinner is a TS. But you make ADR's for all 3 meals

What is the seating like for breakfast? Does a CM seat you like regular TS meals or is it find your own table like at most CS meals? We've only had dinner here, but are excited about trying a pre-park opening breakfast.
