For our upcoming trip, my daughter really wanted to have breakfast at BoG. We have an 8 am reservation which I was excited to get. I am trying the order-ahead meal option. I am thinking of ordering a child's plate for myself as I am not hungry at that hour of the morning. While I might not be hungry, coffee at that hour is important to me. On the kid's meal, you can choose milk, juice, or a kids' fountain beverage. If I choose the kids' fountain beverage, would I be able to get coffee? I am assuming it is serve yourself? Any advice would be great---thanks!

When I was there in May there wasn't a way for them to really check that you were getting the drink you pre ordered. We both ordered a cold fountain drink and got coffee. The coffee and fountain drinks are self serve. So choose a fountain drink and then just make yourself coffee.

I'd say order the fountain drink and then get what you want from the self-serve area. The CM didn't seem to keep track other than delivering the milk carton DS had with his meal.

I also pre-ordered a kid's breakfast and the first person at the register changed it to an adult without asking! I didn't realize she had made the change until I was walking into the dining room. I found a CM and was able to get it all sorted out.

Are you aware that your table also gets a plate of pastries with breakfast, regardless of the number of entrees purchased. So you could always just order her the kid breakfast and munch on a pastry.

Thanks for the tip!

You will be fine - the beverages are self serve (with the exception of bottled and carton drinks) with all the cups and such available at the stations :)

Just a note about the pastries as mentioned above- I am almost positive that you only get these if you have at least one adult entree being ordered. I'm not sure from your post if it's just you and your daughter or if there is another adult, but if it's two kids meals, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be able to count on the pastry plate as your portion.
