Is breakfast at BOG a smart use of a counter service in order to get in the park early? We are planning a June 2020 trip, just my son and me for his 21st birthday.
You'll get plenty of food (decent sized entrees plus the pastry basket), it's a great location for visuals and theming, and you can get released into the park ahead of the sea of humanity if you get an early time and finish quick enough. So, yes, one of the few (maybe even only) breakfast CS I'd recommend using a credit on.
A 9am reservation is going to put you eating during RD, which is prime touring time. You need a PPO reservation if you want to be done in time to beat the RD crowds to line up for a ride. Thanks for this insight. Just switched my 10:30 ADR to 9:00 a.m. park opens at 9:00 am that day. Do they let me in an hour or a half hour in advance?
I figure I’ll start my fast passes on that day around 10:30.
If the park opens at 9 and your ADR is at 9 you have no pre park opening advantage. Everyone is let into the MK hub at 8:00 now, and you would be allowed back to BOG at rope drop, and will lose any advantage of an early reservation, and of rope drop. Thanks for this insight. Does that sound like a better use of our time in yall’s opinion??
So appreciate your help! If I do get lucky enough to snag an 8:00 time, wouldn’t that be better than the 8:45? I’m thinking that if I start eating at 8:15 or so, I can finish by 9 when rides open. If I am eating at 9, then I get out of the restaurant at say 9:45, the lines have already started to build at top attractions. If you can't get a PPO reservation, then yes, that's a better plan. but FYI, all PPO reservations are let in at the same time, so if you can get say 8:45, it would be just as good as 8am for example.
ENJ, I just snagged an 8:30 am. I am also holding a 10:10 am.If you can't get a PPO reservation, then yes, that's a better plan. but FYI, all PPO reservations are let in at the same time, so if you can get say 8:45, it would be just as good as 8am for example.
With BOG PPO they seat you first come first served. Everyone with a PPO breakfast will be let into that area of the park at the same time. If your reservation is at 845, and mine is at 8:00, you will still be let in first if you arrive first. If you preorder you can be inside and eating in plenty of time to be out no later than 845 to line up for your first ride.ENJ, I just snagged an 8:30 am. I am also holding a 10:10 am.
In your opinion, is the 8:30 better?
Thanks copious amounts again.
You’re better off keeping both at this point. If they change opening hours to 8 am in late December (definitely possible), then an 8:30 won’t help you but you’ll still want to keep both.ENJ, I just snagged an 8:30 am. I am also holding a 10:10 am.

You’ve got great advice already from others! If park hours don’t change, get there by about 745 and you’ll be let in with all the other PPO people. Then you can be done before RD.ENJ, I just snagged an 8:30 am. I am also holding a 10:10 am.

Thank you. I am learning so much. I have all my other ADR’s figured out, for the most part. This one got me tripped up.You’ve got great advice already from others! If park hours don’t change, get there by about 745 and you’ll be let in with all the other PPO people. Then you can be done before RD.

Yes, 8:30 is better, but get to MK turnstiles by 7:30ish and when they ley everyone in, go to BOG and checkin right away so you can be seated quickly and get on with your day.ENJ, I just snagged an 8:30 am. I am also holding a 10:10 am.

Ah ha! That makes a huge difference. Thank you so much.I agree that it is best to keep both for now. If park hours do nto change, drop the later one and get to the turnstile at 7:30, and yu can enter with the rest of the PPO folks. PPO meals are seated as they check in, not according to ADR time.
