BOG booked solid in September

Gutted - I went online to do our ADR's today and BOG was booked solid for Dinner between Sept 10-24 !!
I rang reservations and she also checked every time for any evening and nothing at all available!!!

Any tips on when best to search for cancellations bearing in mind I am in the UK on a time difference.

Ended up with reservations for
Cinderellas Royal Table and
The Crystal Palace

You can try checking around 45-55 days before your trip to see if anything opens up. Final payments on packages are due at 45 days out so people who realize that they're not going to be able to make their trip will be canceling their reservations around that time.

I'm also guessing that people who made reservations with the anticipation of free dining may also cancel if it doesn't happen or if the terms of the reservation don't meet their budgets.

All I can say is don't panic and be persistent.

I have a trip booked from Aug 29th - Sept 2nd and wanted to have dinner at BOG on Sept 1. I missed the 180 day mark (was still on the fence about the trip) but was still able to snag a 4:10 dinner ressie.

However, I kept checking twice a day - once in the morning and once in the afternoon - since I would prefer a little later. I had some options come up that the ridiculous new system kept losing for me. Yesterday, I saw the links about using the old system. Logged in this morning that way and had 5:05 and 7:00 as choices. Snagged the 5:05.

So, from personal experience, they are releasing reservations. Just keep at it. I would try now each day as I would expect things to get harder if free dining materializes.

Agree with Dani. Just keep checking. My 180 day was 3/27, and BOG was booked solid the entire time we were there for tables of 5 and 6. I also checked daily, and yesterday a table of 6 opened up on 9/25 at 6:35--even a good time! Just keep checking and don't get discouraged. I thought I was going to spend 6 months checking for cancellations, but I checked for less than a week.

I feel your pain OP. We booked a vacation for May in late Dec, shortly after the 180 days. Checked for BOG right away & have kept checking. Aside for a few 8:45 PM spots the first few days, nothing has opened up for me.

We have tentative plans to return in Dec, so I had hope for then. 2 days ago DH says his big project might get moved from Sept to Dec, so we might have to go in Sept. He won't know for awhile, so I thought I'd check for an ADR, just in case. I am seeing the same thing as you-- nothing available at all!!

Sorry, but based on my experience looking for May, I don't have hope of getting anything. Good luck to you!

Posted this on the other BOG thread this morning.

Just did a search via the old ADR link for Be Our Guest 180 days from today (9/30)...did it at 8:53 am and searched for a table for 10 and then a table for 5...and NADA from 4-10 pm. Did find a table for 4 at 8:40. Strange how it's all gone before the 9am call-in window opened (on the 180 mark). I guess it's the +10 and so I don't think we'll have a snowball's chance in heck to get resies for 15 of us (from 4:30-7:30pm) near Christmas time.

I was checking on 180 days from today, to see what my chances will be in Dec (which I think will be even harder to get an ADR then). I am a bit dismayed...oh well, there are other places I can book and since this is a 5 night big family trip and we'll have 4 nights of dinner ADRs with all 15 of us together, so it might be nice to have 1 night be an 'on our own' night...could be night 3 (right in the middle). I am thinking my fam will do a walk up lunch at Via Napoli.

I I tired from the moment it opened.....I had two trips, one in December....and one in April, I couldn't get a reservation for either time.....constantly checked back....called....nothing. I am just going to have to go for lunch!

I've been trying a few times a day since the end of Feb for either August 27th or 31st and have had no luck! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that something will come up. If not we will have to consider lunch though I really don't want to spend a lot of time in line waiting to eat when we could be doing rides. I expect that I might have some luck closer to my dates as there will be some people who will end up not going or change dinning plans etc. I think if free dinning doesn't happen for that time period that others will end up not going as I've seen posts about people counting on it. I guess I'm off two minds on that one as it would save me about $1000 more but I've been able to get a good room discount so did save some money..oh well I think all you can do is keep trying and consider lunch if you don't get it. I'm the one who most wants to go as I loved Beauty and the Beast movie and I think DH and the 3 girls won't be to sad if we don't go....just me

We check-in on Sept. 22nd and were staying until the 29th. I was able to get a BOG ressie for our very last day in the parks. I had actually called to do my 180+10 since 'My Disney Experience' wasn't letting us do it online and the CM I spoke with only found one ressie for BOG for the entire week that we are going to be there. I passed up the chance and told her that it wouldn't work because of 'Wishes', made our other ADR's and hung up. Then I talked to dh and I told him that the CM had found one ressie but it was going to interfere with 'Wishes' and he just reminded me that we would have another full day at the MK in which we could watch 'Wishes', so I called back and by chance got the ressie. It's not at an ideal time for us (8:30 pm), but I took it anyway and I'm not complaining at this point. I do hope that something opens up for you. Just keep checking back and make sure that you check back more often as it get's closer to the 45 day out mark. I couldn't believe that it was already booked up solid for that entire week and I called exactly at 180 days out.

Just got done checking on 180 days from today (Oct 1)...6:56am and NOTHING...not for 4, 5, 6 or 10 guests...not from 4-9 pm...NADA. It's the +10....and from what Kristian just said, I think you need to be staying 8-10 nights to get a leg up on booking BOG.

Yes, online begins at 6am EST and the phone lines open 7am EST.

Our trip is from September 10-21. At the 180 mark, I got the ADR I wanted online at 6 am. The next day, I had to change our ADR from 2 people to 4 people and I had no problems

What day of your 11 day trip did you book BOG? Say it was 9/18 and you did the 180 +10...that means you're booking 187 days out for BOG and that gives you a 7 day jump on those looking exactly on the 180 day mark (or if their trip is just 5 nights, which mine is, then you got 2 days head start on me). By the 180 day mark, it seems BOG is booked solid. I wonder if it is on the 184 day mark (cause that's when I'll be looking to book it).

I booked BOg for 9/9 at the 180+10 window...puppy had me up all night..tried online from 3am cST ...it was slow as molasses but it allowed ressies at 5am...so that is 6am EST. for a party of five.
