BoG - BiG Disappointment

We went last spring break and thought the food was pretty bad.

But we are going back because it is convenient. And the atmosphere is nice.

My husband and I ate at BoG for dinner during its preview weeks last November and were happy with our food (bar the chocolate cupcake) and the experience. I feel bad for all the people who have struggled to get a reservation and then end up with a crappy experience! Hit or miss does not a good restaurant make...

My nephew & I had dinner there a few weeks ago and enjoyed it. We had our meal in the Rose gallery, right by the Beauty & Beast statues. The room was quiet, the service was great. The food was good, not the best, but certainly not bad. I'm so sorry you had such a poor experience there. I would go back for a meal there in the future.

I don't see lamb on the menu? I see pork.....is that what you mean? Or am I just not seeing it?

EDIT: Nevermind, I see it now on the WDW website, it's not showing on the allears.net menu

We were not impressed with BOG dinner either. Beautiful decor, but it stopped there! Poor service (waitress more interested in party of 8 seated next to us than our party of 2), took FOREVER, noisy, tables close together, food not great especially for the price. It was so disappointing. It felt like being in a school cafeteria.

We've eaten at BOG for lunch three trips, twice each trip. We can't say enough good about it.

Cancelled our dinner ressie after eating our first lunch - the price difference, plus different menu did not appeal to us.

The ambiance is outstanding and we will continue to go for lunch - loved the braised pork and french onion soup especially. :thumbsup2

We had a 9:50 ADR last week - only opening I could get all week. Went for lunch instead and it was our best quick service meal all week. Loved the soup and all of us had sandwiches that were good. The one under 10 didn't like his pasta meal - but he's picky.

I'm glad we canceled dinner. For one 9:50 is ridiculous and seeing the reviews here confirm we made the right choice.
