BOG - Better off to split ADRs?

My family has ADRs for lunch at BOG for lunch with our friends that we are vacationing with. We are a party of 8. I would prefer to pre-order so we don't have to wait in a long line to order. However, we are both on the DDP. I saw on another thread that we cannot pay separately. I was wondering if we would be better off to try to get 2 seperate ADRs for about the same time and then just try to find a table together? Advice?

I would recommend doing that. Once you're inside the restaurant you can find a table together.

I wasn't aware of not being able to split paying for ADRs at BoG when pre-ordering so I paid for all of our meals but then we both had to remember that 2 of their QS credits were for our family until we used them up. We weren't always together so it was a bit of a pain. Had we known we would have done things differently and booked separately to avoid this.
