Our 12 year old son with autism is a very picky eater. We have reservations at Be our Guest. Will he be allowed to order from the kids menu (at the kids price)?

@Alan1972 is correct. I have a son who is super picky and he orders off of the kids menu all the time. Pizza or chicken fingers and fries. They charge the adult price but IMO they also give him an adult portion.

Pricing is based on age. But he can choose from either menu. They will make an adult sized plate from the kid meal items if that's what he chooses. They are very accommodating in wanting people to find something they like to eat. My daughter wanted to try the snails on a prior trip, but didn't like them. Certainly didn't complain, just left them uneaten (minus one!). The waiter noticed and insisted on getting her something she wanted. Brought her a nice adult size plate of fruit or something. But yes, we paid the adult price.

I feel you on this. I have a fully functioning airatarian. Now 15. Ive just adapted to Disney pricing for her. If I cant be ok with $60 for five cubes of cheese I dont take her.
I view the adult price at these fixed price restaurants the price of admission. Once we arrive we don’t fight about what to eat. My daughter had $60 chicken nuggets at the castle once. But we had a lovely time and made some great memories.

$60 nuggets on vacation are different than $60 nuggets on a random Tuesday night. We live here. When I dont take her I give her a twenty and tell her to go find something to eat. She pockets the twenty and eats a pbj from home.

Hey! I have found my people!

I have a high functioning spectrum teen who eats about 5-6 different meals. It KILLS me to travel with him, but it is what it is. On the flip side, my daughter is a total foodie, and will try or eat nearly everything, so I know it isn't my parenting. :) The worst are buffets. Pay $50 for him to sit and eat Pizza and a few chicken tenders. Actually LTT is on my list for next trip because one of those 5-6 meals is roast turkey, so he will actually eat some of the AYCTE meal they serve there, but none of the sides.

Generally speaking, Disney has always been pretty accomodating. When we do the Hoop De Doo revue, they are happy to run next door to get some nuggets since he doesnt eat chicken or any meat with bones.
