[Needs Motivation]

I think aliens abducted my wife and swapped her with an (almost) identical double. I say "almost" because the woman sitting next to me on the couch a few evenings ago said, "I've been thinking about the DVC lately and I think we should do it". Excuse me? This was a complete 180 from the woman who came up with all sorts of practical reasons not to when I thought I had her on the ropes this time last year. Apparently she's met a few parents from our kids' school who are are members and they have had nothing but good things to say about it. In fact, the only complaint so far has been, wait for it, "We wish we had done it sooner".
I think these testimonials only strengthened the outstanding reasons you guys have presented here on these boards. She's scanned through several of these posts and has been impressed by the wealth of info here.
She even surprised me by saying that she had already called a DVC rep and was awaiting some paperwork in the mail. Now all that remains is to discuss how many points to get!!

That's great!

My husband was also taking the same course as your wife. First very leary of everything. He didnt really want to look into it. Then as I kept reading the boards and talking to him about it, (because he would never bring it up) he came up one day and said, if we purchase DVC we will need more than 150 points! I knew then, we were making ground! Now, he reads the boards too!

It's all exciting!
