I used a combination of things, including Body Glide. As soon as I got up I rubbed Arrid cream antipersperant all over my feet and let it dry for a few minutes before walking around. As I got dressed I applied Body glide to my inner thighs and just before putting on my shoes I applied Avon's antiblister balm all over my feet, but especially at the base of my toes and on the ball of my foot (yes over the soaked in Arrid antipersperant). This routine works wonderfully for me. No chafing and no blisters.
