Okay so lets just put it out there - I'm not a "skinny Minnie". I've read on here lots of people using a product called "Body Glide" to help with the chub rub. I was going to purchase some on Amazon but read some reviews that its sticky/tacky when you initially put it on. Is this true?? If thats the case then I'll have to pass. I think that would drive me crazier than the chub rub would!

I use it for running and I love it. I've never noticed it feeling sticky...It does put kind of a film on your skin - that's how it WORKS - but nothing I've ever noticed.

It's something a lot of runners (me as well) use during long runs to avoid chafing. I like it and feel like it does its job. I can feel it when I initially put it on but within a couple minutes it's fine and I don't feel it any more.

We like the monistat anti chafe gel best. Also like the Arm & Hammer version.

It's not sticky at all. It's like white-stick deodorant when it goes on. And it's fabulous for skin that rubs together during a themepark day, at work (my professional lawyer sister in law puts it on her feet when wearing heels), running a marathon etc... no matter the reason.

I've used the Monistat anti-chafing gel as well as Body Glide. The Monistat stuff is silkier/creamier when first applied, but I found it needs to be applied more frequently than the Body Glide.

Another non-skinny Minnie here. :-) I use the Body Glide that looks like the deodorant stick, mostly when I'm wearing a dress to avoid chafing on my thighs. It works great! No stickiness. I've also used it on spots on my feet that are starting to get 'hot' and develop blisters - it works great, though I still apply a Band-Aid when I can to avoid the blister coming on! I am bringing it to WDW to use, most definitely.

I use it sometimes for running (certain shorts that rub) and I do find it sticky. I like clear anti-perspirant better. But under a dress (or anywhere it won't show) I suggest--and I'm not making this up--Anti-Monkey Butt Powder. It a powder with calamine lotion. LOVE it. I use the Lady version. I also carry a travel-size baby powder for freshening up during the day, since the Monkey Butt only comes in a big size.

I cannot say enough good things about body glide - I use it at the beach on my youngest who has very sensitive skin, also on my youngest DD and myself for swimming /working out!

I don't have these concerns, so I've never tried it - but I have heard Monkey Butt Powder is good... haha

Seriously... it's a powder brand.

I like both the Monistat Anti-Chafing cream and the Arm & Hammer stick. When using the Arm & Hammer stick I also coat the area with Johnson & Johnson's Pure Cornstarch Baby Powder (has to be the cornstarch version -- not regular baby powder). That combination lasts for hours for me.

ETA: CORRECTION - It's not the Arm & Hammer stick that I use, it's the Gold Bond Friction Prevention stick. Not sure why I said Arm & Hammer. :confused3

If you've ever put on deodorant using a deodorant stick, its the same thing, its not sticky at all. This is the greatest invention in the running, outdoor sports community,if it wasn't for this product I would never be able to complete all the half and full marathons I compete in,its also great for when I go to the beach or water park where I'll also get chafing. There are other brands such as the Gold Bond friction defense which I also use as its easier to find since its available in Walgreen's but I consider Bodyglide the top anti chafe product, for example for my next full marathon I may have half a stick of the gold bond one but I'll go out and buy the Bodyglide as its never let me down.

I just got back on Saturday, we walked 50 miles. I am pooh sized and used Body Glide everyday. I didn't chafe at all and it was September heat.

Wish I had thought to put it on my feet, I got 4 massive blisters.
