BOBBLE water filter question

A few years ago we had Brita water bottles to use at Disney. They were great. I found BOBBLE water filters on clearance at Target. I just assumed they fit any bottle, but they do not. Has anyone found a bottle that they fit on? I looked online and they sell bottles to go with the filters, but they are more than I wanted to spend. These would certainly save us some money on drinks this summer. Any one have success using one with a plain old plastic bottle? Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure the Bobble filters were made just for the Bobble bottles. They weren't made to fit regular water bottles.

Target or Old Navy usually has sales on the Bobble bottles. I got mine (they always come with a filter) for $10 at Old Navy last year.

You can also get the bottles on Amazon and sometimes at GNC. They only work with their own bottles (I checked). I love my bobble and have been using it exclusively for the past 2 years. I took it with me to WDW last month and it was a real money saver - plus I didn't have to wait in line for drinks!

Thanks!

Has anyone used the individual flavor packets in their bobble? Their website does not recommend using them as they have not been tested for added mixes or flavorings. Have you used them and had problems? TIA.

i haven't used the flavor packets in mine but the problem might be that the filter will catch the crystals. i'm sure the flavor will still be there, but the crystals might junk up the filter. maybe the new Mia liquid water flavoring would be better?

I got mine at Target. I just want to warn you to never put it in the dishwasher. Twice now I have unloaded our dishwasher to find a shrunken bobble... They are totally useless because they shrink and get hard.

Last year I was looking at bobbles for our trip. There was a post from someone who gave a heads-up about not using the flavour packets in the bobble. They tried it and it gummed up the filter.
