I stocked my bag full of treats to take on the boat as Patch and Patch separated us into 2 crews

and each crew was led by a pre-chosen child who carried the flag for our crew ,we were on team Smee.Out of the 2 Patches ours was my fave and he was a total riot.we were loaded onto our vessel

and out to the lake to watch the electrical water pageant.Now I've seen it before but not like this ,it is so much better up close and personal.

Ahhh~ We LOVED the P&P Fireworks Cruise...it is SO MUCH FUN! Not to mention the primo fireworks view without fighting crowds! It was def one of the highlights of our trip. The Peter Pan costume is adorable! Is that what your other DD was supposed to wear also, or did she have another character? Can't wait to see the reaction of a "certain someone" at the end of the voyage...

We moved in nice and close to MK and watched wishes

it was breath taking,can you imagine doing this a couple times out of each week?

then I realised that my dream job was no longer to be stitch,this was truely it I had found it!!!!

If I had to say anything that I didn't like it would be the lack of transportation after it was done(royal pain)but now I know and can plan ahead for the next time .

So when we left the pirate n pals we had a heck of a time getting bacvk to our resort,people were being directed to walk to MK(no bus or monorail running at the time)and catch a bus from mk to wherever they were headed,but cm's were having people turn back from mk to contemporary then everyone had to either take a bus to DHS or downtown disney,the problem with that was that everytime one pulled up they were too full to get on it took forever but after 5 Dhs busses and 3 downtown disney buses we finally got one to DTD and then waited for a bus to PORS now it might have not been so bad if my kids hadn't been up since 3 am and we were now pushin 11 or since i hadnt slept well plus been up since 3 am,anyway we got back ,opened the door n pretty much fell into our beds.
The next morning we slept in and then set off for Animal kingdom,although this time we found ways to amuse ourselves with the camera while we waited for a bus.

WOOHOOO we got on a bus finally!!!!(the wait wouldn't have been so long if we weren't travelling with someone on a scooter)

Who knows where that kids parents are but i never noticed him until i looked at the pic,if I had I would've made sure he was okay .

okay so for anyone who didn't know this trip originally began as a riley n grandma trip,however because of certain reasons my husband and I felt it was best that I tag along just incase but I still wanted to give them their own time aswell so we split up alot but were always in the same general area so I could be available at anytime.This will explain why most pics are just of Hailey and I except at most meals or for some of the photopass pics.Another thing i should point out is that this same week 4 of my friends from one of the forums were running the TOT 10 miler and so I had planned to meet some of them so they will be mentioned in this TR as they come I call them my "magic ladies".
Anyway with me n my girls we have always had a tradition that we go to Dinoland and get slushies and popcorn so H and I set off in that direction......

only since the theme of this trip was to try new things we decided to try the cinnamon pecans and they did not disapoint

this day I was texting back and forth with one of my magic ladies Darolyn,she was in Ak too but with Hailey it can be very difficult to plan things sometimes because she has difficulty waiting or staying still and especially in the sun,it causes major meltdowns or sometimes in the heat she has seizures.(we're still trying to find out all the causes of these seizures,it's been a very lengthy process)anyway unfortunately we didn't get to meet her that day.Hailey saw alot of things she wanted to buy with her "duffy money"(thats spending money in her terms) but she decided to get her face painted first.

so heres the before shot....

she chose the unicorn style( no surprise to some who know how much she loves my little pony)

as you can see she loved it,I did too!! so TAAAAADAAAAAAA!!!!

i should also mention that I don't typically allow my kids to be in public with socks n crocs,infact i shutter at the thought of it ,however these were new cheap walmart ones and they were giving her a blister so i allowed it for this trip.

anyway I had dressed her in her lilo costume in hopes of going to see Lilo but sadly she is no longer doing meet n greets in Ak we miss u lilo,one of the cm's we saw was so sad because he said they had a lot of fun when lilo was there n that he really missed her too.
So we went on to go see my fave munks.....

then I noticed there was no line for Donald,how in the heck not?I love that darn duck!!!

and while we were doing that here are some photo pass pics of what gma n riley were up to......

we saw guitar dan but didnt go get a song from him because we figured we'd let others do it who hadn't before If anyone hasnt seen our vid from him let me know and i'll send you the link if you like.I had hoped to see thumper and Miss bunny but they were nowhere to be found,for some reason there seemed to be a character shortage on this trip or maybe from being sick n drugged i just wasn't noticing.by this time haileys grass skirt was sticking to her in the heat and getting itchy so we put her outfit back on instead and went to do our other AK tradition which is to ride triceratop spin(now i'm not sure why but on this trip we made a habit of running all over from one of a park to the other,quite a bit)

Checking out your TR - loving all the pics so far I also LOVE your daughters outfits; I probably just missed this but did you make them? We had dinner at 1900 Park Fare as well as especially loved the stepsisters and Lady Tremaine - they were SO in character.

I didn't make the dresses a friend of my mom did,anfd if i can offer any advice to anyone wishing to do the same I'd say buy the fabric at walmart rather than jo-ann's because if i would've done that i would've saved so much money!!!!

We very sadly bypassed Nemo because there wasn't enough time before our lunch adr and we wanted to do new things so we decided to look for the yeti( I have to say i really don't understand how my 7 yr old is tall enough for everest and space mountain but not primeval whirl,it kinda bums me out)

so after everest which is now a new fave for me we met back up with my mom and riley because we had a lunch adr to go at Yak and Yeti.

Let me just say this place does not get enough credit it was one of the best meals of my trip.

oh then we took pics to try n trick daddy with when we got back home ,but he knew it was rootbeer

then we ordered and eventhough I really wanted the lettuce cups i let my mom choose and she got the dim sum basket,I'm sure others would like it but I'm fussy when it comes to pork.I forgot to take the lid off Oops.

I ordered the steak and shrimp and omg it was amazing one of the best steaks it was tied with the one i had at le Cellier later in the week.

then for dessert I got the fried wontons,by this point i felt myself getting full but it was so good I became somewhat of a glutton.I ate alot more of this than I should've just because it was that good.OMG yum!!

I fell in love with yak and yeti and I will definitely be back,my food was great,srevice excellent and the atmosphere was beautiful.I loved the theming and had to take a few more pics as we left.

my pics don't do it justice but i'm no photographer.After lunch we went to the everest store,i'm sure it has a name but i never checked.Anyway I fell in love with the yeti merch,it's super cute especially the hats.

i'm definitely buying one next time,I don't care how rediculous i'll look!

we went on khali river rapids but i had left my water proof camera back in our room cause i'm that bright! but i got a few other pics in AK.

we saw a photopass person and decided to go for it.

I found 2 really cute dresses in ak and i'm not the dress type usually but I loved them.I am more of a separate pieces girl I'd rather wear a skirt and top than full dress but I bit the bullet

so when I last left off we were in AK and the we had wandered around here n there trying to avoid the parade so we could make our escape,I knew long before that our lunch adr and dinner adr were most likely too close together but i was hopeful that we'd work ourselves up to being hungry enough (that didn't happen)we left Ak and headed for the buses with far too much time to kill.The 4 of us got on a bus to Saratoga Springs...it's sooo pretty..........

I would like to stay here sometime but i'm not a DVC member so i don't know if thats possible or not

then it was time for our adr but we were still stuffed so although it broke my heart I had to go and cancel The Turf Club (insert tears here)

so the plan was to get a boat over downtown Disney and so thats what we did and while we waited we of course entertained ourselves with the camera(my kids love taking their own pics with it,so as long as they wear the wrist strap I let them at it)
