I have had both fantastic dining experiences and not so good ones at Boatwrights. In January, 2008, my DH, DS and I had our best dining experience that week at Boatwrights......server was probably the best we had ever had.....I can't believe his name escapes me right now......he was an older gentleman who obviously had been a waiter for a good number of years and was absolutely the best. The food that night was also excellent.......all 3 of us felt our meal was probably the best we had during that trip.....and we had eaten at Narcoosees, Yachtsman, and Artist Point during the few days before this meal. However, that said........two trips before our January, 2008 trip.....back in October, 2006.....service at Boatwrights for breakfast was horrible.......we were with friends, the meal was cold, eggs were way overdone, french toast was hard, we waited forever for service and then, to top it all off, the server spilled an ENTIRE pitcher of oj on our friend.......soaking her in sticky oj......it was awful. So.......my point is.......you can have absolutely awful food and service at a restaurant and then have absolutely wonderful food and service at the same restaurant.......I truly believe the management of the place has a tremendous impact on what happens on a day to day basis, so, I guess it's the luck of the draw at the time.............
