Boatwrights or Boma?

We're getting in at around 5 pm to POFQ (staying one night there then off to OKW). We're PS'ed out for dinners the rest of the trip, but have our first night free. I'm very interested in Boma, but Boatwrights is pretty convenient. I'm traveling with my DH and our 1 year old, and we'll have a car. What would you choose? TIA!

If you've never been to Boma or AKL, then I would go there. It's our favorite restaurant. Boatwright's is okay...but, for us, Boma is much more special

I vote for Boma. It is delicious and unique! Plus, since you have a car, you won't have to make bus changes. Have fun!

Boma is one of our very favorites, but I can understand that you might like to just relax on the first night, depending on how your 1 y/o is doing. Boma's and walking around AKL would be my idea of a 'special thing to do on the 1st night'.

You could make the Boma reservation and then just play it by ear --- cancel if you're not in the mood (but I'd personally re-do my PS's and squeeze Boma in later in the week).

It's been our experience that we could get into Boatwright's on pretty short notice.

I'd pick BOMA by a longshot!! We ate at both restaurants in May, and we all loved BOMA (me, my dh, and my ds's 5 & 9). Boatwright's was overpriced for the quality of the food. Breakfast at Boatwright's was good, but dinner stunk!!

Plus, the AKL is a neat place to visit, too!!

We're staying at POFQ as well on our next trip and are going to Boma on our arrival night. It is my favorite restaurant at WDW (at least of all the ones I've tried). The food is fabulous and AKL is a great place to see. It's definitely worth the trip.
