:sunny: A great breakfast here! I tried the sweet potato cakes served with honey pecan butter! This was so good, it didn't need any syrup! Both me and DH got huge glasses of tomato juice, so cold, so smooth and healthy! My DH got an egg platter and said it was very good. I think the kids got some sort of sausage and eggs. Everything was hot and fresh and yummy! If we stay at POFQ we will make another trip there! :cool1:

Mmmmm, those sweet potato pancakes. This has been one of my favorite places for breakfast since 1993! Thanks for sharing!

Boatwright's has always been on our "must do" breakfast list every trip.

We have had breakfast at Boatrights on our last 3 trips and just love it. Your right those Sweet Potato Pancakes are great. We asked for the recipe on our last visit and the waitress brought it out to us. :flower:

Thank you so much for this review...and for everyone's post after it. We will be staying at POFQ for the first time in May and I was a little concerned cuz I never hear Boatwrights mentioned very often. Sounds good. And if Uncleromelus says it's good...then it's good! :flower:

I love their Eggs Benedict. I'm gonna get some in June!!

You GOTTA try the banana-stuffed French Toast! We make special trip to Boatwrights every trip just for it!

That is what I had, and it was awesome. So good and sweet. No syrup needed. Huge too. I couldn't eat it all. Of course my DH didn't mind that part. He finished it up.

Stop, you are all making me hungry!!! Has anyone tried the Calabrash breakfast? There are sooo many choices.

Boatwright's is always a must-stop for us. I have to agree with you, I love the "Sweet Potato Cakes." Thanks for the great review. :)

I loved this - very similar to my beloved Tonga Toast at the Poly. We were really pleasantly surprised by Boatwrights!

We satyed at Dixie Landings about 5 years ago and had a very enjoyable dinner at Boatwrights. Will be staying at POFQ with the kids in April and was wondering: about how long does it take to walk from POFQ to Boatwrights? I had already thought that Boatwrights sounded delish for breakfast before I saw your review and now I just have to eat there!

Thanks,

EthansMom (and now Molly's too)

About 10 or 15 minutes at a slow pace. We walked from POR to FQ in December, and it was a nice walk.

Thanks, sounds like it will be worth the walk for breakfast!

Recipe, did someone say they had a recipe for the pancakes. I need that. :Pinkbounc
Just post it here, that way everyone can get it. They are the best and I have only had them twice, people. I don't know if I will be able to have them when I go in June. Three of us are staying at POP and will have 5 children with us so it may not be a possibility. They may wake up one morning and I will be gone, off to Boatwrights by myself.
