Boats with No Water

Has anyone tried this again today? I can't get it to work. Maybe I'm not doing it right. Or maybe they fixed the bug.

Funny thing is, I've got the river pointing out of my room and when I enter my boat almost immediately exits. I can't stay in long enough to move the river!

Hi Jewel, I haven't been in yet this morning to test mine. But you need a right turn river corner at the entrance to the room.

VMK_Zev was called to the very first free boats room in Maxxkid's room and enjoyed it very much!!

Hint for making it work***
Make sure you have a corner piece and face it so that the current is going towards the door. Then when you enter, move the piece to the other side of the room, watch yourself shoot across, and place the piece back so that others can enjoy it. (I know that not all the rooms work with this, the ones I know of are the underwater one (mine) and the briar patch)

also, if you put in crates, you can go on top of them, just like a regular river ride, LOL.

i did this, and i just found out you can go through teleporters in the room and stay on! and you can also sit in chairs! looks hilarious

Oh my gosh....this sentence cracked me up....I was thinking the same thing. We had a 40th surprise party to go to last night and as we were leaving at 9:30 pm, I said to myself...if we get home quick I can still get on to do the goodnight dance....but we didn't get home in time.
Its tough to leave the virtual world and go out into the real world again....hahahahaha

to answer the question if it is still working today, yes it is. I went into a room today where they were doing bumper boats. I also saw a couple of other rooms that had them. They are only the submarine room and briar patch rooms. What I want to know is, who figured this out, how, and how did word spread so fast to all of vmk????

The orginal Bumper Boats was discovered by Maxxkid. He then explained to FrontierEmma how to do it. I then posted it on the Dis boards here and she was telling people in her room how it worked and they could have possibly told their friends how it worked and so it went from there.

But everyone should know that Maxxkid was the one to first discover it.
