We ate dinner at Boatwrights with a party of 12 and everyone was fine...it's just not that exciting. The food is pretty straightforward, I had salmon, some had chicken, the usual kids meals and I think my brother had a creole dish that was lightly seasoned (we're used to real New Orleans food). I'd recommend checking out the menu at allears.net.
The meal was reasonably priced and service was good, we had a wide range of ages--2 toddlers, 2 kids, 4 parents, 2 grandparents and a great uncle and great aunt! Since it's a quieter restaurant, we were all able to talk and swap tables to see each other.
