Boathouse Walk Ups

Does anyone know if the Boathouse will typically do walk-ups or are reservations needed? We have been trying to get reservations on MDE and Open Table but it has not worked out for this Sunday. Just curious if anyone has tried walking up. Thanks for your help!

If you look at your MDE app the day-of, many of the restaurants will show whether they are taking walk-ups. We managed to get on a walk-up list via the app for a couple restaurants in late January, but not sure if Boathouse does that. The DS restaurants sometimes work a bit differently than those in the parks and resorts.

We have eaten at the Boathouse a number of times without reservations and here is the but....2 people and willing to sit at the bar. Also have gotten reservations on Open Table day of.

They have walk up bar seating and they also have a dockside seating area that is entirely walk up. If you want seating inside the main restaurant or outdoors on the surrounding patio of the building, you will need a reservation.

We walked up and ate inside recently - we were actually seated immediately around 5:30pm (party of 5).
