So I haven't been to WDW since 2009 and am seeing so many new restaurants. A few on youtube have talked about how amazing the Boathouse is; what are your thoughts? Should this be our choice for our first night at Disney?

Ate there 3 times last trip!! A bit noisy but evidently we liked it a lot!!

I agree it was really noisy though

Service and food at Boathouse were excellent!! We did not have a good experience at Fulton's, but perhaps things will change as they revamp the restaurant.

I really liked both Fulton's and Boathouse. I am actually worried that the new Paddlefish will be too different from Fulton's.

As for Boathouse. First time I went I was really lukewarm, but the second time it was amazing. I'm going with extended family in the late fall and will be taking them to eat there.

Fultons is closed and no one seems to know what they will be serving.

I really like Boathouse. If the weather is nice you can eat outside and its much quieter

We ate at the Boathouse a few months ago and found the food and service to be very good. The waiter told us that the Boathouse was part of The Gibsons Steakhouse company from Chicago.
I have eaten at Gibsons in Chicago and the Boathouse was as good. We will go back to the Boathouse.

We did boathouse on Wednesday and were pleasantly surprised. The food was great, the service was fabulous and the atmosphere was really nice. We will definitely be back.

We love the Boathouse: both times (October and January) we just walked in for lunch. Service, drinks, and food are excellent. I would highly recommend it!
