In a few weeks we have an ADR for The Boathouse for dinner on our arrival day. One thing I don't seem to see a lot of are reviews. The menu and food look absolutely amazing and it's actually the ADR I'm looking forward to the most. Anyone have any reviews?

I have never eaten there but I have heard it considered somewhat of a 'hidden gem'. Granted, everyone's opinions differ and some may hate it, but the people I know who have eaten here always enjoy their meal and make plans to go back every trip.

We just watched a video review of The Boathouse on YouTube (The Big Fat Panda channel). They were surprised with the S'mores Baked Alaska, which looked extraordinary ($40, serves 4). We are planning to go just for dessert on our next trip, but I agree that the rest of the menu looks tasty.

We ate there in January. We had a party of 8 and although I can't remember what everyone ate we were all very pleased and vowed to return next trip. I ordered the filet sliders and it was delicious!

We ate there last month on our anniversary, it was very good.

I had the cedar planked salmon, it was cooked perfectly, nice and juicy, it came with a side salad on the plate.
My husband had the tenderloin, he said the steak was delicious, but the sauce on the side was just awful.
We split 2 sides, a baked potato, which was good and then a some kind of a baked squash dish that was good, but nothing I would run back for.
We enjoyed the meal and will be back again.
The only thing that would have made it better, would have been if the patio was open, I would have loved to eat outside.

My sister in law gave it good reviews from their trip in November. We will try it in March.

We ate there in October and loved it. I had the fried shrimp which was excellent. Lots of waitstaff - great service. Cleanest public bathrooms I've ever seen! If you have kids - the kids meal come in a paper/cardboard amphicar. We had to take ours home - it actually made it home in the suitcase and my son still plays with it! Haha I would def recommend!!!!

Ate lunch there in Nov and found it average. The wine list was pretty good. We had a shrimp appetizer that was okay but I honestly don't remember anything standing out. We enjoy eating out, and do so frequently, but I have to say I'm in no rush to return. For context we love the Yachtsman Steakhouse, Raglan Road, Artist Point, Yak and Yeti.

DH and I ate there last week....the service was great.....steaks ..delis..nice atmosphere....

Had lunch there in November. Both my wife and I considered it a very good meal. Not "oh my, this is incredible!", but very good. One thing not hit upon by other reviewers is that you can, if the weather is nice, ask to be seated outside. We did, and enjoyed a very nice view during our meal. We'll be going back.

We ate there last summer and really enjoyed our food. John and Kevin from the DISUnplugged have done a good video review of the restaurant.

We ate here during the soft opening and loved it. I have to say that it was a very memorable meal, between food quality and level of service it was a standout. I started with the shrimp cocktail and had the Atlantic Swordfish for dinner. It was fresh and delicious. My husband had the Mahi Mahi tacos and they were good, just a little bland. The fish was cooked well, but my husband is not a seafood eater so he went with something familiar. For dessert we had the Key Lime pie in a jar and it was fine. Nothing exciting, but very good. My son had the pig in a blanket served with french fries in a cardboard car/boat. He loved it.

The most exceptional part of the experience was the service. We had at least 4 different people making sure that everything was moving along well. Our main server was knowledgeable about the menu was personable and efficient.

Check out trip advisor..In our 14 nights of dining out this year in October, I'm picking five signature experiences, and The Boathouse is on my list..The 12oz fillet and lobster is what I'm going for...Surf & Turf baby...

We have been there three times, including opening day. We enjoy the outdoor bar -- fantastic views, good finger food, and you can order off the entire menu. Enjoy!

Excellent ambiance, good service, and tasty food. I especially recommend the beef carpaccio.
