I read you can order this days in advance...does anyone know if this is true?

Also, any recommended dishes? The seafood boil (I’ll be there for lunch) looks fabulous

I thought Boathouse removed the baked alaska from the menu all together due to it being too labor intensive to make and now the cost. It was $40 when they first opened so I can't imagine what the cost of that dessert would be now. I'd call the restaurant and ask but it's not on their menu.

The article I read, from this past March, said you have to order in advance...presumably because it was removed from the menu,

Anyway, good advice...yes, you can order it in advance, but a couple of weeks. I just did - I’m so excited! What a way to end my vacation!

That's cool that they still do it, that's a whole lotta ice cream---enjoy!

it is, but at least I’ll have 2 others with me, lol.

its not a true Baked Alaska, I just discovered, but it will be a fun way to end my vacation.
