I just booked two rooms at POR because of the great email rate. We are checking in 11/30 and going to MVMCP that evening. I thought we may try Boat Wrights for an early dinner before we head to MK. Has anyone eaten here? The menu looks good -- does it live up to it? Or should be eat at a monorail resort and then head to MK?

We ate there in June and it was great. We had a party of 11 and no compaints from anyone...A very yummey meal! Going back in Sept. and plan to eat there again::MinnieMo

We love Boatwrights! We've eaten there many times over the last 8 years and have never had a bad meal. They have a menu with something for everyone. (my favorite is the prime rib, DH really likes the jambalaya) The wait staff is very nice and helpful as well. They have great desserts, too!
Be sure to give yourselves plenty of time to enjoy dinner before heading over.

We tried Boatwrights a couple of years ago. It was just OK for us. Not sure that we would return when there are so many other places to try.

I love boatwrights (esp. for breakfast), but this is usually a slow restraurant. given that, I would choose a monorail resort. Kona is always good.

Ate there in July and had a good experience. The monorail resorts offer better but this one is a good choice for a close to home meal that is not too expensive.
