Boat transportation on Night of Joy

We are not going to Night of Joy, but are planning to be at MK that day. When we leave in the late afternoon/evening we are planning to take the boat over to FW to look at the horses and do the wagon ride.

Will the boats still be running back to MK even though it will technically be "closed"? Thanks!

I would expect all transportation to be running normally until the end of the extra ticket event. The Night of Joy guests are not locked into the MK; they're free to leave and return until the event ends.

If the boats are not running for some reason, Disney definitely will provide bus transportation in their stead.

If you stay at FtW past the end of NOJ, you may be stuck taking the internal shuttle to the Outpost or WL and then either transferring at DTD or taking a taxi.

BTW, I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think Guests are allowed to walk into the Tri-Circle D stables only until dusk.

I think now we may take the boat to WL and walk the path over to FW. Then when we are done at FW, take the boat back to MK so we can get the bus back to our hotel.
