We'll be staying at the Beach Club...can we really take the boat to MGM, MK, and Epcot???

You can take the boat to MGM and there is one to Epcot, close enough to walk :flower: , but you will have to bus to MK and AK. Or you could cut through Epcot and take the monorail to MK.

If you are staying at the BC, you can catch a boat at the YC Boat Dock to Epcot and Disney Studios. However, you can probably walk more quickly to Epcot from the BC than ride the boat.

The only way to ride a boat to the MK from BC is to walk through Epcot, catch the monorail to the Trans and Ticket Center, get off the monorail and take the boat over from the TTC to the MK. Or take the bus from the BC to MK directly.

No boats to AK from anywhere.

If you are staying at POR or POFQ (one boat) or SSR or OKW (another boat), you can take a boat to DTD.

From the Beach Club you definitely want to walk (5 minutes) to Epcot. The walk to the Studios is maybe 15 minutes so you might want to take the Friendship boats. They run from Epcot to the Studios throughout the day stopping at the Boardwalk, Beach/Yacht clubs, and Swan/Dolphin along the way. It is a slow but relaxing ride.
You really do not want to cut through Epcot to get to the Magic Kingdom unless you happen to be there anyway. It is a long walk from the Beach club through the Epcot International Gateway and then on to the Epcot main entrance. From there you would take the monorail over to the TTC and then down one ramp and up the other to the MK monorail. The bus from the Beach club is MUCH easier and faster. Last month the Beach and Yacht clubs shared one bus to the MK and AK which is a lot better than in the past when all five Epcot resorts shared the same bus.

My DH and I love to walk so when we stayed at YC back in May, we opted to get to MK by walking through Epcot and taking the monorail to the MK. It takes longer to get there that way and it is a bit of a trek, but we enjoyed it very much. Not sure I would do it on a very hot day, though! But I did want to remind folks that doing this requires that you have the park hopping option on your tickets, or that you have an annual pass, since you will be entering and then leaving Epcot and then entering MK.
