Boat rental ???

At which resorts do they rent the pontoon boats from, and does anyone know how much they are a 1/2 hour? Also, I thought last time we went they had speedboats that were larger than the "water mice"? Does anyone know if they still have those, or is my memory fading?

I'm not sure of all the resorts that have pontoons but I believe that Fort Wilderness, Wilderness Lodge, Poly, Contemporary, and Grand Floridian have them. I am not sure on current prices though. I can't remember if the Contemporary has the bigger/faster speedboats anymore.

Hopefully someone who has stayed at Epcot resorts like YC can speak to availability there.

The water mouse is it as far as speed boats go, and they are strickly enforcing the weight limit, which is 325 lbs I think. As far as costs for pontoon boats, we rented the smaller one a few months ago and it was around $30 for 1/2 hour. Hope that helps.

You can rent pontoon boats from pretty much any resort with a marina. They are $42.00 a half hour and $84.00 an hour, at least on Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon (Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge, Fort Wilderness, Polynesian and Grand Floridian). They have WaterMice (now called Sea Raycers) but they do go slow at 320 lbs (the max weight limit).
