- I'm curious as to how early the boat leaves the Wilderness Lodge for the MK for a 9:00am opening? We reserved breakfast in the Castle for 8:30, so I'm hoping that the boat will get us there in time.

- Also, does the boat go from WL to CR? I don't remember this being the case last time, but am not sure.

Thanks!

The boats start running early (I think around 7:00 a.m.). We've had 8:00 ADRs at CRT or at Chef Mickey's and have not had any problem being there on time by taking the boat from WL. By the way, there are two separate boats - one goes to MK and the other to CR.

Boats from WL to MK(they stop first at FW in the AM, WL after 3pm. FW, WL, MK, FW....or MK, WL, FW, MK) start running 1 hour before the park opens. The other boat that circles WL, CR, FW starts running at 6:45. The small boats(2 of them) run clockwise and counterclockwise(WL, CR, FW). These boats usually meet up at CR, so wichever one is there(going to CR or to FW) will get you to CR at the same time(wait at the dock or ride a longer boat trip). The walk from CR to MK is nice or you can ride the monorail from CR to WL if you don't want to wait for the MK boat.

although the official publications say the buses and boats start 1 hour prior to park opening, we found out on our last trip that the first buses start one hour prior to the start of breakfast seatings.

But - you need to be out there really early to watch for that bus or boat as it runs only every 30 minutes until closer to park opening time.

We had an 8AM ADR at Crystal Palace for a 9AM Park opening, and made sure we were on the 7:30 bus from SSR.
