Boat from MK to Ft. Wilderness?

How often does the boat go from MK to Ft. Wilderness and also does it run until after park closing?

We stayed at WLV a few years ago. This is what I remembered.

I know the boat runs after park closing but I dont know how long after. We returned about an hour after park closing and caught the boat. Also, if I remember correctly, we never waited longer than 20 minutes or so for the boat to MK.

We came home at park closing........but others (who are very regular WDW campers) had gone to top of Contemporary to watch the fireworks and then have a couple drinks. Ooopps....no more boats were running when they got to slip not too too long after the park closed. I think they went back to the hotel and got a taxi. So I would ask what time the last boat leaves.

It is similar to the buses. When we were there in Aug I think it was approx 45 minutes after the park closes.
