Hi all,

I am in the process of planning our March trip, specifically our day at MGM. We don't care for any of the MGM restaurants (picky I know), but want a sit down lunch. I'm wondering if taking the boat to Epcot to eat at WS, and then returning to MGM after lunch makes any sense?

Where does the launch pick up and driop off at these two parks?

Any advice appreciated!

The ride on the boat from MGM to Epcot is very nice, a bit slow.
As you exit MGM you stay to your left and walk towards the dock, you can not miss it. From MGM the boat then goes (I think this is the correct order) to the Swan/Dolphin, then the YC/BC and then to the Boardwalk and then to Epcot. The dock is located at the entrance to the International Gateway at the WS.
You do not even have to eat at Epcot, there are many great choices of restaurants at all the stops

The boat will take about 40 minutes one way - once you board it. If you just miss one, it may be 20 minutes before the next one shows.

The walk will take you about 30 minutes, its a nice walk, if your feet aren't too tired already!

(I'd recommend starting to walk if you see the boat pulling away - you'll beat it to the BW stop and can take a ten minute ride to Epcot)

The International Gateway is right between Great Britain and France. If you want to eat at Mexico, you have another 10 minute walk in front of you.

There are some restaurants at the Swan, Dolphin, Y&BC and the BW - but many of them are not open for lunch. Check it out before you make plans. Beaches and Cream is open at the Beach Club - but doesn't take PSs and often has a long wait at lunch time.

(We haven't found anything we really like at MGM either)
