Boat from Epcot to MGM

Where do you pick up the boat to MGM from Epcot. Is it near Int. Gateway - do you go out of the park by the resort? We didn't get do that last time & I thought it would be something "neat" (for lack of a better Brady bunch phrase) for me & 13 y.o. son.

It is to the left as you exit the International Gateway. If the weather is good, it's nice to sit in the open area at the back of the boat. There is only limited seating back there, so you have to be quick.

It's a very relaxing ride, too! If you're on a schedule (or have a PS to make) be sure to leave plenty of time. The boat makes a stop at the Boardwalk, Yacht and Beach Club, and Swan/Dolphin before it goes on to MGM, so it takes just a bit longer than you might imagine.

cleo is right. It is a very slow ride but my toddlers loved it and it was MUCH better than carrying them.

Walking is faster and the scenery is nice so that is also an option.

They announced that the trip from EPCOT to MGM would take 25 minutes. I timed the trip from dock to dock and it took 24 minutes. This was during Feb. of this year.

Yep! 25 minutes sounds about right! It's definitely not the fastest mode of transportation, but relaxing for sure!
