Can anyone staying onsite catch the boat from Epcot to MGM or do you have to be staying at a certain resort? Also where do you catch this? I'm wanting to hop on my next to last day and saw something about this on the boards. I didn't even know it existed although we've been several times. Guess that's what you get for staying in the values! :confused3 Thanks in advance!

Anyone can use it, but I prefer to walk along the BW and then on the MGM. It is a nice walk and definatly faster than the boat. Unles syou just want to sit for a while!

To find it at MGM walk out of the entrance gates and bear left towards the lake (which is kind of obvious when you think about it, no water no boat really!) It was pretty fun when we used it last, the boat captain and crew member had a little trivia contest with the passengers, if you got a question right they let you pick out a pin from a bunch they had up front. It does take some time, you stop at Swan & Dolphin, The Boardwalk and The Yacht & Beach Club, before arriving at International Gateway, there is another entrance into Epcot there, which puts you in the park right before the bridge that goes from UK into France. You probably wouldn't want to use it if you were in a rush, but we like to ride it.

Anybody can use it. You can find the boat at the International Gateway which is in between the UK and France pavillions. It stops at the Boardwalk, Yacht/Beach Clubs and Swan/Dolphin before it gets to MGM. At MGM it will drop you off to the right of the main entrance HTH

Yes anybody can use it, but your right our home is BWV and we always walk to Epcot & MGM we manage always to beat the boat but if you want a nice ride then the boat is the way to go.

MNSSHP - Sept. and MVMCP - Dec. and a quick trip home for me and hubby May 18 -23

Anyone can use it. From Epcot you exit through the International Gateway (near France) and from MGM you'll see a dock just to the left as you exit. You have to makes stops at all of the resorts along the way but it's only about a 15 minute ride from one to the other.

:thumbsup2 Great! The disers come through once again! I appreciate it. We will definitely be taking it. Sounds fun. And we won't be in a huge hurry that day so that will work out great! Thanks again. You guys rock :worship:

Actually, the boat drivers will tell you at the beginning of the trip that to go all the way from Epcot to MGM on the boat, it takes 25 - 30 minutes (due to the slow speed of the boat and having to stop 3 times on the way). The boat is no where near as quick as walking to any of the resorts it stops at or even for walking all the way from one park to the other, but it is a nice ride and can be a nice way to take a rest, if you are so inclined.

It is the best!!! I always ride it at least once a trip. It's nice after the hustle and bustle of MGM and you get to see the resorts sort of up front and personal. Sometimes you might get Captain Birdman - who is training all the birds that "hang" out at the boat docks or the two female Captains that do their own comic schtick for you.

It's a nice leisurely ride between the parks and resorts. You might even want to consider getting off at Boardwalk and getting a dessert!!

The boats usually run a hour before and an hour after the parks close.

Don't miss it and if you get Captain Birdman - tell him Ely says Hi! :sunny:
