boat from Downtown to Port Orleans

does anyone know if you can still take a boat from PO to Downtown Disney or in my case from Downtown to PO and if so, what hours the boat runs?

Just got back from 5 day stay at POR......Boats run on the hour every hour from 9 am - I believe midnite........about a twenty minute ride to Downtown.........boat leaves Downtown on the half hour coming back to POR.........

The boats run every hour on the half hour until 4;30pm. Then every 20 minutes until midnight

BTW, the boat ride is really really slow, so don't take it if you are on any type of time table.. but for a nice leisurely ride it's great. V. Pretty! Suprisingly there are hardly any lights along the path, so if you go at night don't plan on seeing anything

Where is the boat dock to/from Port Orleans at Downtown Disney ?

I believe that you are dropped off behind the Rainforest Cafe, but don't quote me on this.

The boat dock at Downtown Disney that goes back to POR/FQ is located on the side near the Rainforest Cafe. I would say it is sort of "behind" the RC ... and you can clearly see it if you are looking for it over on that side of DD. What a fun ride it is, and relaxing too!

Thanks ! We'll be staying at POR for the first time next year, and I have always wanted to take this excursion.
