Boat from DHS to Epcot

We're planning to spend the day at DHS, then leave to have dinner at Chefs de France in Epcot. I figured we'd ride the boat over; so assuming we have an ADR for 7:00 p.m. at Chefs, what would be a good time to be at the boat dock? I don't know how often the boat comes or goes, so any help will be appreciated.

No later than 5:45 pm.

I think the ride is about 35 - 45 minutes plus the wait if you just missed the previous boat. you can walk it in about 20 minutes but haven't you already walked enough at Disney
