Boat dining in AK

In my unofficial guide from last year, it said that there were plans to launch a character dining experience on board of a boat traveling around Animal Kingdom. I don't have the book with me now, so I don't have the specifics, but the tidbit was located in one of those boxes where "jim" gives some scoop.

Did this ever happen?

What'd they call those things? Discovery River boats, or something, I recall. But one cool thing - if memory serves, you went past an area where you could hear a dragon roaring, hearalding the not-yet-birthed Beastly Kingdom.

That was one of those ideas that probably sounded good in some high-level meeting. Oh well.
