boarwalk to mgm question

i thought i read somewhere on another post that boardwalk
was in the process of building a walkway to mgm. anyone
else heard about this?? i didn't think it was possible because
of the lake.

The walkway has been there for a few years now. It goes right alongside the lake and is about a 15 minute walk from the Boardwalk. We were very happy to have it when we saw the crowds waiting for the boats!

It's there and has been opened for the better part of a year or more. It's straight and smooth and well lit, albeit a bit long at close to a mile.

thank you for replying to this so quickly! that's great because
i hate using disney transportation. anytime i can walk i would
rather do that then wait forever for an overcrowded bus.
