I hear alot of people talking about the Boardwalk and how many things there are to see and do there? What resort is this located at? AND, how would you get there from MK or Epcot?? BTW, we are driving and won't be staying at a disney resort. Any suggestions from the experts? Also, is it just like a boardwalk on the beach? Would appreciate any comments and/or suggestions. Thanks so much everyone!

THE BROADWALK IS A DISNEY RESORT, YOU CAN GO THROUGH THE WORLD SHOWCASE AT EPCOT, AND IT WILL TAKE YOU TO THE BROADWALK RESORT.
VERY NICE RESORT, GO TO DISNEYWORLD.COM AND SEE SOME PICTURES OF THE RESORT.

There are also some great pics online at www.wdig.com - and good information on the Boardwalk and what you can do there. It is a nice experience and usually offers games and entertainment during the day and into the evening.

Boardwalk -

Hey mamabear 3710,
The boardwalk itself is similar to what one would find at the beach, but this one is on a lake. It is very pretty and does have games and entertainment, mostly in the evening, and there is great array of places to eat on it and in the vicinity. Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club, ESPN, Flying Fish, for example. It is a boat ride or a short walk from Epcot using the International Gateway exit. Can also do the same from MGM, but a little longer.
We will be there at the Inn in three weeks for our third time. We really enjoy the whole area. Have fun!! Bob

I have only stayed at BWI and loved it. There are FAQ threads at the top of this resort forum board, read the ones for BWI and Swan, that will give you tons of info and advice.

We stayed at the Boardwalk & loved the convenience to EPCOT. There are plenty of things to do there.
When we stayed at CBR last time we drove our car directly to BWI & it was almost impossible to find a parking place. We ended up parking down the street somewhere in another hotel's pkg. lot.
Personally, and I KNOW it's just my opinion (& my family's too) I think the Swan is an ugly hotel & the look of it deters us from booking there. I must visit it one day & look around because I hear nice things about it on the boards.
You'll enjoy the Boardwalk.:bounce:
