After spending the day at HS, I'm hoping to go over to the Boardwalk for a walk. Is there anywhere there that we can eat at? We are looking for a CS meal... Any suggestions?
I think you can still get a slice of pizza at the window at Spoodles or hot dogs and such at Joe's cart, and there are limited sandwiches at the Bakery, but that's about it. That's the one negative about those resorts...hard to get CS meals there.
When I stay there, which I frequently do, I just head over to WS to grab counter service.
very limited CS over there like the pp stated.Over at the BC resort is Hurricaine Hannahs which is poolside and has a few offereings as does the Beach club marketplace. When we stay there we have park hoppers and just go into Ws for Cs.
You can get everything from fine dining (Flying Fish) to casual sit-down (ESPN) to take-out (Boardwalk Bakery, Spoodles Window) to vendor carts (hot dogs & funnel cakes)!
Yep, as everyone stated CS stinks over there I did get a good panini sandwich at the BW Bakery. For dessert you can get a slice of yummy cake - so that's a bonus. But if you want something "really good" I'd head to Epcot. Do you have hopper passes? Walk over and get a fish and chips meal in the UK. It's much better than anything else on the BW (CS that is).
Actually, there are some decent choices at the Dolphin, which is actually closer to the Studios than the Disney-owned Epcot resorts.
I had a really great cheeseburger at The Fountain restaurant (which is actually like a small coffee shop/diner), and I had a killer chicken pot pie at Picabu, their "buffeteria". In fact, the portions there are so huge, you can feed a small third world nation.
Quick service choices at the Disney-owned resorts are lacking.
I enjoy the pizza at Spoodles, picking something up from the bakery, and nobody mentioned Beaches and Cream. I like the cheeseburgers and a shake, but there is usually a wait.
