Boardwalk vs Beach Club

We have stayed at the Beach Club many times and are very familiar with it and everything there. But, we have never stayed at the Boardwalk ... what are the differences between the two? Does the Boardwalk have a "fast food" type of area like GF, AKL, Poly, WL? I know that the Storm-a-long Bay is unique but what about the Boardwalk pool? We have never been past the front of the boardwalk in the evening so we are totally unfamiliar with the hotel, the DVC area, etc. Any pros and cons are much appreciated. We are thinking of buying DVC and are going back and forth between the Boardwalk and BC so are trying to compare the two properties.

the pool at BC/YC/BCV is much, much better than the BWV pool.

It is the pool with that silly clown.

over at the quiet pool BWV side is the community hall. lots of games for your kids to play.

no restuarant, snack bar, food court at BWV. all the eating places are OUTSIDE. which I don't like. all the restuarants, etc are along the BW area.

We prefer the BW over BC. Not crazy about SAB - too sprawling and hard to keep an eye on your kids. Mine are very content with the "silly clown" slide at BW. Have stayed at BC also - very nice! It's the location that matters to me. That being said, you can't go wrong with either place!
