The Boardwalk Villas are our favorite resort (even above BLT) because of the location. We stayed there a few years ago and found the rooms in need of some remodeling. Does anyone know the status of the updating program?

The villas were updated a couple of years ago (2009 or 2010, I believe).

Just did a complete update....I haven't had a villa that was in need of anything at BWV!! Just love them even more.
Now, SSR??? Yep, could use some help over there!!

Just returned today from a 5 day stay. Had a number of issues all resolved. Did get a chance to speak with management and they said a soft rehab is scheduled for 2014 at Boardwalk. They are getting rid of the bed spreds and going to triple sheeting all white. Thats all I know about it. Not sure the person I spoke with was reliable but seemed to be.

The bedspreads are being removed at ALL DVC villas, not just Boardwalk.

Thank you wasn't aware of the plans. Sounds like may be more to it than just the sheets but she wouldn't go into it.

Members were notified at the annual member meeting in Dec that the DVC resorts would be going to triple sheeting in 2014.
