Boardwalk Villas Layout

I have two questions regarding the BWV:

1. What type of rooms are available at the end of the Boardwalk above Jellyrolls? Is that just one Grand Villa?
   
2. If you were to stay above Jellyrolls or in the Crest O' The Wave building, is there an elevator or staircase at that end of the building? Or would you have to walk back to the lobby to get in and out of the resort?

The rooms at the far end of the Boardwalk are Boardwalk view and Preferred View (looking toward the Swan/Dolphin). There are no GVs that far down the hallway; only studios, 1 BRs and 2 BRs.

There is a stairway at the far end that opens to the back toward the walkway to the Swan/Dolphin. In our unscientific test, if a boat is waiting at DHS, it is equally fast to walk as it is to boat to Swan/Doplphin then walk up the stairs to your room at this end.

The only elevator is near the lobby. -- Suzanne

There are no guest rooms above Jellyrolls. It is a party room known as "The Attic". Originally, it was supposed to be a room for members (like Top of the World at BLT) but it is now a room for private events. Not sure if they ever actually used it as a member room, I was not a member when it opened.

The last rooms in the hallway are in the Crest O' The Wave section. Unfortunately, there is only one elevator bank and that's right next to the lobby. There is a stairway at the Jellyrolls end that leads down to a sidewalk next to the canal and the back of Jellyrolls. There is also a stairway that comes out near the boat dock so you don't have to go all the way to the elevator. There are probably more, their main function is fire escapes.

The Grand Villas are on the corner above the store near the boat dock and also under the Boardwalk sign. Most of the rooms from the center to the Jellyrolls end are 2 bedroom lockoffs.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I figured there would be a stairwell at that end for safety purposes, but I was hoping there would be an elevator as well. We really enjoy going to Jellyrolls, and at 2am those five flights of steps would feel like twenty!

For further info: the very end boardwalk view rooms just before Jellyrolls are 1BRs. The other rooms in the Crest of Wave area are 2BR lock-offs, which are also above the Big River Grill. The grand villas are all over the general store.

I've been in one of those end rooms..it's a long walk from the elevators!!! But, it sure is nice to just head down the stairs when going to DHS. But, then again, you do have to use the elevators at the end of the day.....it is tiring to walk up to the 4th or 5th floor!!!
