We will be staying in a boardwalk view room for the first time in January, usually have pool or garden view. I have read in other post that it can be a little noisy above jellyrolls. Can you see the Epcot fireworks if you are staying above the big river grill area? are You able to see the fireworks from all boardwalk view rooms? is It better to have a higher floor room for this? We have sit on the bench by the water in front of jellyrolls and watched them before but don’t know how visible the fireworks are as you start going around toward the entrance to the boardwalk lobby. Thanks for any help or suggestions on rooms with better chance of having a firework view.

Not positive about above Big River, but I believe you can. We were in a 1BR next door on second floor (literally above the model). Had all our family over (around 15 staying at BW Inn) and watched both MK fireworks (only high ones) and the Epcot fireworks from room and balcony. Kids enjoyed it more than fireworks in the park.

Its funny, but our families best memories of the trip last summer were the two nights we had them over to watch fireworks, snacks, and beverages in our room.

This is a room just a few doors down from the lobby on the Villas side. Technically it’s a pool/garden view but it looks over the village green and kind of has Boardwalk view too.

I think it was room 5059. The higher floor definitely helped.

There are no boardwalk view rooms above Jellyrolls. Possible noise issues exist all along the boardwalk and are due mainly to things going on outside on the boardwalk not inside. You can get some quite loud late night groups on the boardwalk when Jellyrolls and Atlantic Dance close. You can also get noise in the early morning, even though few to no guests are even on the boardwalk, because that is when they do the daily cleaning of the boardwalk. The higher the floor the lower the degree of noise. Fireworks can be seen from all boardwalk view rooms but higher floor (4 or 5) is better than lower and rooms in the Crest O' The Wave section (the one nearest Jellyrolls) have the somewhat better view.

My suggestion is worry less about fireworks (lots of places to catch them) and worry more about a request to get a balcony that is not a solid wall. Can't remember the rooms off the top of my head for it.

It depends how you stack rank everything though.

I stayed in a studio once that was very close to Big River Grille and watched the fireworks from my bed. However, this was Illuminations, I don't know how much of a fireworks show you get with Harmonious.

I know there are lots of places to see the show from, but sometimes its just nice to chill in your room with a nightcap while seeing them. It made me feel happy.

We stayed right over big city river grille in February on the 3rd floor and was able to see all of the higher fireworks. I think on the 4th or 5th floor would be great. We had a 2BR lockoff. It was a great location. We would give my girls a bath then go out on the balcony and watch the fireworks then bedtime. My girls loved the fireworks.
