Boardwalk to WL on New Year's Eve

Disney World site has info about party at Atlantic Dance on NYE, and states that Disney transportation will be available for hours after the parks close. However, if I'm not mistaken, there is no available buses to The Boardwalk from Disney resorts or from the Boardwalk to Disney resorts. Is New Year's Eve an exception, or will it be necessary to walk through Epcot to the main gate, and board a bus there? We have annual passes, so we wouldn't be "losing" a pass day just to catch a bus. Anybody able to help with this question?

I don't know how Disney buses will operate on NYE....hopefully someone does.

Just wanted to point out that you can easily take a taxi back to your resort. Just walk through the lobby of any of the Epcot resorts (Boardwalk would be the closest) and out the main entrance. Taxis are normally waiting, but if one is not available a Cast Member will get one for you right away.

You will be able to take a bus to DTD and transfer there for WL. The best way would be to just catch a cab.
