Boardwalk to Hess

Good Morning Everyone!

The next time I stay at The Boardwalk Villas, I want to try to WALK over to the Hess Gas Station for some supplies.

I think I understand how to get there, but I wonder if there is a decent walkway. I don't want to walk over if I will have to only walk up a shoulder of a busy road.
Do I cross a road at a stop light?
Is there a safe sidewalk?
I will most likely be walking alone.

It is just a short walk. I do not recall sidewalks directly over to Hess. (Haven't walked there from Boardwalk myself.)
But it should be an easy walk.

Yes there is a sidewalk that leads to the overflow BW parking lot which is located just behind the Hess station. Just walk through the parking lot and you can cut through into the Hess station, which is only another 100 yards and you are no longer near any heavy traffic roads.
And there is a stop light for crossing Epcot Resort Blvd.

When I went there this past December they had more selection of Coca Cola products to purchase, various snack brands and etc. Plus their prices are less expensive then what some of those items cost at the Boardwalk.

Beer. $5.75 each at the general store. That's $34.50 for a six-pack at BW (or any of the resorts)

I've also stayed at BW and have done the Hess run. Like said before there is a sidewalkout of the parking lot. Just use your common sense when crossing over to Hess. Meaning wait for a break in traffic, espicially since most people are probably concentrating on other things bedsides pedestrians. As for the pricing it is cheaper than buting in the general store. For instance cigarettes are 3 dollars cheaper per pack. A 12 pack of beer wasn't much more than 2 cans of beer from the store. Not much of a selection in the BW Hess though. Typical grab and eat food, don't know if the one buy Downtown is better for selection.

Hi do you know if either of the Hess sells fresh milk ( yes I am English and I like "proper" milk in my tea!)
Also what brands of beer do they sell? My DH would be a very happy chap if the answer is Bud!!

Yes they do sell Budweiser, Bud Light and Bud Light Lime.

Beer for less than $5/bottle (and a better selection than Disney sells)! On the one and only trip where we decided not to have groceries delivered, we hopped a cab over to Hess for a 12 pack rather than pay resort gift shop prices for beer all week! The 12 pack plus the cab fare was less than a 6 pack at the resort.
