Boardwalk to GF

What would be the best way from Boardwalk to GF.


The quickest and or most romatic idea. Going to GF for dinner and Vickie and Al's.

Most likely the quickest way would be a taxi. I'm not quite sure that there is any romantic way.
If you do not want to take a taxi you would need to take the bus to the MK and take either the boat or the resort monorail over to the GF

The most romantic way would be to walk through Epcot's World Showcase (very romantic), leave Epcot and take a monorail(not so romantic but fun) over to GF. This may involve transferring monorails at TTC, and if you and your spouse are dressed up you might not like walking.

I love walking through World Showcase in the evening, so I would probably do this on the way back. You might even be able to catch part of illuminations.

Not the cheapest, but you could get a towncar or limo for this. I have no idea what they would charge for that.

One of the reason we rented a car the last time we went was to get to V&A for dinner. Reading a bus in a suit isn't my idea of a big night out.

We are staying at BWI and planning on doing a dinner at GF, for Cinderella's Gala Feast at 1900 Park Fare.

If we are leaving the resort to go to GF, I am concerned about how long it would take to go to MK by bus and take the monorail to GF. I didn't even factor in having to stop at TTC. So I guess we might as well take a taxi and save alot of time.

On the way back, we are planning to take the monorail from GF to Epcot, and tour through World Showcase and catch Illuminations before heading back to the BW.

However, will we be able to gain access into Epcot from the main entrance if it closes at 7 pm. I am hoping we could still enter from there and walk over to WS at Epcot. Has anyone done this?

As you probably know, you need to change monorails at TTC.

The Epcot front entrance stays open. Its some/most of the attractions that close at 7. You can get through the front entrance right up to Illuminations.

Just as an FYI, that's a mighty long walk you're talking about doing. I'm assuming you'll be dressed up in semi-formal attire for dinner, I wouldn't want to walk the two plus miles you're talking about walking wearing high heels.
