Boardwalk to Epcot Launch Landing Sites

Can someone please explain the ferry routes to and from, Boardwalk to Epcot. We are planning our Nov. Trip and scoped out the Friendship Ferry Launch that leaves from Boardwalk but where does it arrive at EPCOT. Does it land in the Worlds and/or Showcase Plaza. Do you have to switch boats, etc...

It only goes to the International Gateway which is the rear Epcot entrance a couple thousand feet from the BC. It doesn't go into Epcot. The boat that you see going back and forth across the lake in Epcot is a separate boat.

It's also a very easy walk around to EPCOT. If you just miss the boat, take the stroll!

If you walk from Boardwalk to the international gateway to Epcot, you will arrive in about 10-15 minutes. If you take the boat, it will be about the same amount of time assuming you don't have to wait for the boat. We always figure it's easier and faster to walk. In fact, we often get off the boat at Beach Club when coming from DHS, and then walk from Y&B to Epcot instead of getting off at BW or waiting until the Epcot stop. We always get there FAR ahead of the boat.

If you assume the boat starts at DHS, it will stop at Swalphin first, Y&B, BW, and then Epcot. In fact, we often get off at the Swalphin and walk from there and even then always get to Epcot before the boat.

thanks for all the great info, especially the birds eye view of our stay! What a fantastic tool. We live on water and love to travel by boat, but we were under the impression that the BW ferry went into Epcot lake. Thanks for clearing it all up we so appreciate it.
