Boardwalk to AS Sports

We are hoping to o to the ESPN bar on the Boardwalk after seeing Illuminations one night. We're staying @ AS Sports. Am I correct in thinking that the only route back will be from the Boardwalk to DD Disney to AS Sports? TIA!

Would love to do the taxi, but will have 15 month old son (no car seat in a taxi, so not legal). Any other suggestions? Also, there are 9 of us total....if we are all travelling together, we'd never fit.

Actually it is legal to not use a car seat in a public livery vehicle. But that's neither here or there. Then your only option is to take the BW bus to DTD and then transfer for a bus to the AS. If you walk out to the bus stop and the bus pulls up, an the then AS bus is waiting for you at DTD, plan on it taking about half an hour. Realistically speaking, it could take well over an hour.
